Compensation: $66,000 to $75,000 per year
Overview: Nexus HR is looking for an experienced Clinic Administrator with the capacity to be on the ground with the medical staff if needed. The right candidate will have an active Medical Assistant (MA) or Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) license with a strong management or supervisory experience; for a reputable rural health clinic in Newman, CA.

About the Job
The Clinic Administrator oversees the daily operations of the clinic and handles administrative and clinical functions. The
Duties and Responsibilities:
Manage the daily operations of the practice, covering staffing, clerical, and clinical works
Ensure that the clinic is properly staffed
Assist in the billing process and the handling of accounts receivable.
Assist in budget monitoring as needed
Supervise medical and non-medical staff, including making hiring requests, as needed.
Oversee the training and onboarding of new administrative staff
Work with HR and the Credentialing team to onboard new providers and ensure they are properly set up to carry out their tasks.
Work with the providers and the back-office and the front-office support teams to ensure quality patient care
Monitor the delivery of the services to ensure compliance and maintain high-quality patient care
Ensure that all patient record handling and processes are compliant with HIPAA guideline
Develop effective policies to maximize the practice’s capacity to deliver patient care
Ensuring compliance with regulations
Other administrative tasks as needed
Qualifications:
At least 2 years of clinic supervisor or administration experience
At least 3 years in the healthcare industry experience
LVN or RN license is highly preferred
At least associate or bachelor’s degree in the healthcare field
Strong understanding of medical clinic operations
Able to work effectively as a member and as a team leader
Strong knowledge of healthcare rules and regulations
Exceptional time-management skills
Able to work in Newman, CA
